State(s): Michigan
Month: April
This post has nothing to do about hiking but it was pretty fascinating. We had a partial solar eclipse in Michigan; the moon mostly blocked the sun in the middle of the day.
I never took pictures like this before so I wasn’t really sure what to do at first (and they aren’t that great). I ended up covering my camera lens with one side of paper solar eclipse glasses. I then used the Moment App to select my zoom lens on my phone and control the lighting a bit better. Although I do have a Moment lens, I didn’t use it for this because my hillbilly lens cover was too small to fit over it.
