Day 1
Our original reason for going to Ohio was to go to the Cleveland Clinic but why not make the best out of it? Before CC we went hiking at Euclid Creek Reservation (Cleveland Metro Park) for about 2 miles then headed to CC.
After CC, we went to Mitchell’s Ice Cream then started our hiking back up. First we went to North Chagrin Reservation (Cleveland Metro Park) for an unknown number of miles. Next we went to Squire’s Castle to see a real castle from the 1890’s. Then we went to Quarry Rock Loop – 0.8 mile loop.
For dinner we stopped in Chagrin Falls and ended up at Etalian, which was a good pizza place with excellent cheese bread. We then treated ourselves to Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream.
Day 2
Your trip to Cleveland isn’t complete without going to b.a. Sweetie Candy Company. We went there in the morning, and also got some ice cream there. We headed to Brandywine Gorge Loop and completed the 1.5 mile loop. From there we checked out the Boston Mill Visitor Center. Across the street we started the Blue Hen Falls trail, however, 5 minutes into the trail a big storm came so we headed for the car and ultimately ended our excursions for the night.
Day 3
We started off by conquering the Blue Hen Falls trail – 3 mile loop. After that we hiked another trail but we aren’t sure the name of it. Finally, we finished our time in Ohio by getting Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream.
